I KNOW THIS GIRL TRUSTED SOUND PRACTITIONERS

Community has always been at the core of our work at I Know This Girl. Over the years, we've had the privilege of connecting with some incredible women doing powerful work with sound.

Which is why we want to help more people connect with our growing network of sound practitioners - each one trusted, experienced and heart-led in their approach. We’ve been to their sessions, vetted their training and experience, and ensured they are equipped with the tools to create meaningful, supportive spaces.

Whether you're new to sound healing or looking to deepen your journey, this list is here to guide you to someone grounded, intentional, and aligned with your needs.

Laura Fleurs

London

Laura Fleurs is a sound healer, Reiki master, and yin yoga teacher who guides women

toward harmony, self-love, and emotional balance. Her work blends intuitive sound therapy,

subtle energy healing and the meditative practice of yin yoga to create deeply restorative

experiences that nurture both body and soul.

Using the harmonics of crystal bowls, her voice, and resonant frequencies, Laura gently

leads her clients into states of deep rest and energetic alignment. Her sessions provide a

sanctuary for release and renewal, helping to clear emotional blockages, calm the nervous

system, and awaken the body’s natural capacity to heal. With every session, her intention is

to help those she guides raise their vibration and reconnect with their true self.

Rooted in compassion and presence, Laura’s approach honours stillness, sensitivity, and the

sacred connection between sound, energy, and spirit. Her work offers a ripple of healing

that extends beyond the individual into the wider world.

Steph Theodosiou

Hertfordshire

In her other job as a swimming teacher and swim school owner, Steph found that she was feeling emotionally drained more and more often. She realised she wanted to take a new path with a job that would bring a bit more “zen” into her life, but still provide something meaningful and impactful for others - this is where the bowls came in. Having attended numerous sound baths over the years, she realised that they were her answer.

“I really feel that we are living in a time of exhaustion and disconnection - both with ourselves and from others. We are overworked, overstimulated, stressed, rushed, under pressure - the list could go on! I know that I need to slow down more, give myself permission to rest, and not constantly do, do, do. Sound baths are the perfect experience for deep rest, and I want to give people the opportunity to pause, connect within, and feel rejuvenated and nourished, without feeling guilty.”

Steph provides public sound baths in Hertfordshire and London, as well as corporate well-being sessions.

David Spofforth

London

David is a Sound Healer and Crystal Bowl Sound Bath practitioner, trained with the Sound Healing Academy in Brighton. His practice has blended his 15 years of experience with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple as Priest, Soul Healer and Astrologer, into a harmony with his Crystal Bowls.

He sometimes works with a chakra set of clear quartz bowls (supplied by I.know.this.girl.) to apply his experience as a Soul Healer to his sound baths and healing sessions.

Other times he plays with a specially curated set of planetary tone crystal bowls to compose original bespoke soundscapes that map the astrological energies of the moment, caused by the motion of the Planets, and reproduces them as a unique meditative astrological sound journey. The audience then feels the resonance of those astrological influences in microcosm and is attuned to the guidance of the Planets at a cellular level.

David plays for groups and for one to one healings, working both solo and in collaboration with other sound, yoga and kundalini practitioners. He plays regularly in London, Glastonbury and Peru.

Emily Story

Newbury

Emily trained with Holly Husler after finding the calming benefits of bowls during restorative yoga sessions and being intrigued by the both the science and the music theory behind them (Emily studied flute and piano to Grade 8 & 6 level).

Holly introduced Emily to Kate and the joy of choosing the bowls started, she really enjoyed the process due to Kate being so knowledgeable and also her recordings of each bowl was to such a high standard, she is now the proud owner of 4 beautiful bowls.

Emily uses them at her home Treetops in Newbury, Berkshire where she holds Sound Evenings and weaves the Sound into weekend Retreat Days that she holds with yoga teacher Rachel Windsor, it creates a perfect calm finish to a lovely day, especially when held in the woodland.  The Sound during the evening sessions just holds everyone so softly after their busy days and hectic lives, very soon you feel a shift as people sink into their mats under their duvets letting the wave and vibrations work their magic. Emily asks that everyone leaves in silence, to keep the sound within them, so they can head home to bed for a restful sleep.
